DAY #8 - FONTEYN CAREPOINT
NOTE: The Fonteyn CarePoint lost its roof during the windstorms that swept through Mbabane last week - the worst in Swaziland's history. It is clear that we are facing a spiritual battle for the lives of the precious children in this area.
Pray for the children at the Fonteyn CarePoint that God will help us find ways to touch their lives with the love and hope He gives. Pray for their healing. Pray that as they encounter Jesus, they will in turn become “evangelists” - taking the good news to the rest of the community.
Today we've invited Travis Johnson of Life Pointe Church in Florida to lead us in prayer.
- God, we come to You now with thankful hearts for Your salvation, provision and restoration. We thank You for the children at Fonteyn CarePoint. We thank you for the ministry that is taking place there. We thank You that there is no situation that can possibly frustrate Your Grace.
Father, I pray that as this area and these wonderful people reorganize and recover from disaster, you would demonstrate the miraculous grace of Christ in their lives. Bring healing, deliverance, safety, health, wisdom, and salvation. Let the presence of Your Spirit be more powerful than any storm.
I pray that You would send more laborers and resources to Fonteyn CarePoint. Bless and increase those who are serving there. Make this place into a light that blazes brightly for You. I pray this in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.
Please join us in prayer today and we invite you to leave a prayer or thought here in this online prayer gathering by clicking COMMENTS below. Thanks for praying!

This week the International AIDS Conference is being held in Toronto. Business, researchers, and government leaders such as Bill Clinton and Bill Gates are attending to discuss new medical breakthroughs for people living with the virus including orphans in Africa. I am standing in agreement that this conference will result in new steps for providing a cure for children living with AIDS.
