DAY #4 - DAVE OHLERKING
Dave Ohlerking and his wife Jean founded Children’s Cup in 1992 and have served over thirty years as full-time missionaries. Dave has been blessed to travel extensively, directing ministry projects in 56 countries, and visiting another 51 countries. He has seen the world at its best and at its worst, and has dedicated his life to making a difference in the lives of the children - the often-forgotten ones. Please pray for his continued wisdom as he leads Children’s Cup and pray for good health to persist despite the challenges of diabetes.
Today we have invited Matt Fry, lead pastor at Cleveland Community Church to lead us in prayer.
God we come to you to day to lift up your servant Dave Ohlerking. We praise you for men who have a heart like Dave’s to reach out to hurting children. Would you give him strength and endurance to run the race you have called him to run. Help him not grow weary when he looks at all the hurting children and all there is to do, but give him a hope that all things are possible with God. Raise up some Aaron’s and Ur’s that will come along side and hold up his arms when the battle gets tough. Continue to give him vision for the calling you have placed on his life. Raise up young men and women that Dave can pour into that will carry the mantel of Children’s Cup so that the ministry and vision you have given Dave Ohlerking will reach many generations for the cause of Christ.
