DAY #13 - DAVE VAN RENSBURG
Dave was born in Africa and has lived there all his life. For the past 12 years he has worked in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. He and his wife, Sharon, are presently living in Swaziland, but their ministry finds them traveling extensively for Children’s Cup in southern and central Africa. Their main focus is coordinating the Relief Aid and Development projects for Children’s Cup within this region. Please pray for his continued safety and good health as he continues in this vital role.
Today, we have asked Johnny Green, the Highland Campus Pastor for Healing Place Church to lead us in prayer.
- Father, we pray for Dave Van Rensburg as he demonstrates your heart for the children in Africa. We thank you for his vision, compassion and courage in the face danger and resistance. Please give him supernatural wisdom in all his efforts. Guide him step-by-step.
We ask for favor as well, favor with government officials, tribal and community leaders and anyone he would need to open a door for him. Go before him and clear the way for your love to reach the hurting.
We also ask for strength and encouragement. Let him feel your presence as he rises early and goes to bed late. We pray that the joy of the Lord will be his strength. Thank you for his example of your love and devotion.
