DAY #34 - CHILDREN'S CUP STATESIDE TEAM

The more opportunity there is for ministry overseas, the more resources are needed. The larger the team on the field, the more the stateside infrastructure is relied upon. As Children’s Cup has grown rapidly, we have been blessed to maintain a small staff in the US office, playing a tremendously vital part in what Children’s Cup does. Please pray for this team (June Edwards and Dan and Vicki Ohlerking) that God will bless them with creativity, connections, resources, and anointing as they communicate what God is doing to supporters, and steward the business of Children’s Cup with integrity. Pray that because they do what they do, churches will engage, new missionaries will be sent, and supporters will be inspired - and as a result, more children will be led to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

Today we'd like to ask you to pray - each of you who are participating in this online version of the FORTY DAYS OF PRAYER FOR THE CHILDREN - if you would like to share your prayer for the stateside team, please click COMMENTS below and leave your prayer there.

Thank you so much for praying today, and for the last 33 days. Much has been invested in the spiritual realm during this time, and we can be sure that God will give us a great return on that investment in the coming days, weeks and months.

Comments:
How blessed we are to have such a talented, dedicated, and Holy Spirit-energized team in the homebase.

Thank you for placing in their hearts the desire to serve at home. Thank you for giving them a heart for the little ones whom they may never meet. Thank you enabling them to work in the "background" with the all-important details of the home office.

Please bless these dear, dear ones. Bless them when they are going out. Bless them when they are coming in. Bless them when they are standing. Bless them when they are sitting. Bless them from the inside out.

Continue to give them anointed and creative ideas for our publications; for setting up and running the database; for answering phone calls and emails and prayer requests; for praying over the phone with our donors who are themselves hurting. For being the life-line between the donors and the receivers.

Please use them for your glory.

Thank you for our wonderful home staff.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

PS...Happy Birthday, Vicki!

Father I lift up the stateside team to you. Let them not lose focus on what you have called them to do in support 'Cup as they go about their other responsibilities.

Father,

As a missionary myself I know the crucial role of stateside support. We need people: People who give, or we could not go; people who pray, or we could not be as effective; and people who serve, or we would not grow. These relationship are the backbone of your work.

Thank you for June, Dan and Vicki. They serve a vital role for Children's Cup and the ministry to your precious children. Continue to give them the excitement and passion for this ministry while separated by thousands of miles. Holy Spirit, annoint them with wisdom, comfort, and convition for your work. Speak through them to partners a clear message of your work.

Encourage them in their administrative work when they can't be where the action is becuase the action takes place between a bowed head and a listening God before the results are seen on the field. Help them to always know how valuable their work is to those on the field.

May their work be a fragrant aroma to you.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, I pray for you to raise up an army both stateside and in these many countries to reach and care for these children. I pray for the ones both on the front lines and the ones that work stateside. I pray for their support (if they have to raise support). I pray for their protection from the enemy, because this ministry cannot work without them.

I thank you for these workers and ask that you would raise up more workers, more prayer supporters, more financial supporters, so that these carepoints can be built up all over the world where they are needed; where children have been abandoned and abused and left to die.

I love these children Lord even though I have never met them. All my life I have wondered why I have lived such a blessed life, while so many in the world live in such pain and suffering. Heal their suffering Lord. Let them know you in a way I will never know. Calm their fears, heal their wounds, heal their hearts, and let them have the opportunity to live in heaven when they die.
